These terms govern golf instruction, programs and services provided by Christopher Stoudt through stoudtgolf.com and in person in New York City. By booking a lesson or using this website, you agree to them.
1. Services
I provide individual golf instruction, junior development programs, playing lessons and online coaching. From September 2026, in-person coaching takes place at The Boroughs Golf Club:
- Upper East Side — 32 East 76th Street, Third Floor, New York, NY 10021
- SoHo — 598 Broadway, Second Floor, New York, NY 10012
2. Booking and payment
Lessons are booked and paid for through Acuity Scheduling. Payment is taken at the time of booking. Prices are shown at the point of booking and may change over time; the price that applies is the one shown when you book.
3. Cancellation, rescheduling and missed lessons
- Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your start time at no charge.
- Within 24 hours of the start time, the lesson is charged in full.
- If you do not attend, the lesson is charged in full.
- If I need to cancel, you choose between a full refund or a rescheduled lesson.
4. Late arrival
Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time. Arriving late shortens the lesson rather than extending it, so that following students are not delayed.
5. Packages and multi-lesson bookings
Lesson packages are non-transferable and expire twelve months from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise at the time of sale. Unused lessons are not refundable after expiry.
6. Junior programs
Juniors under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on the junior’s behalf. Please tell me about any medical condition, injury or learning need that may affect participation. A place on the waitlist does not guarantee a place in a program.
7. Health, fitness and assumption of risk
Golf is a physical activity and carries a risk of injury, including from swinging clubs, struck balls and repetitive movement. By taking part you confirm that you are physically fit to do so and accept those risks. Please tell me about any injury or medical condition before we begin. I am a golf coach, not a medical professional, and nothing I say should be treated as medical advice.
8. Facilities
Lessons take place at The Boroughs Golf Club, a third-party venue. You must follow the venue’s rules while on site. I do not own or control the facility and am not responsible for its condition, access, equipment or policies. Club membership is not required in order to book a lesson with me.
9. Online coaching
Online coaching is delivered remotely using video that you submit. You are responsible for filming safely and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Stated turnaround times are estimates rather than guarantees.
10. Video, photography and likeness
I may record video during lessons for coaching analysis, and that footage is used to teach you. I will not publish, share or use footage that identifies you for marketing without your permission — and, in the case of a junior, without a parent or guardian’s permission. You may withdraw that permission at any time.
11. Website content
The content on stoudtgolf.com, including text, images, video and coaching material, belongs to me and may not be reproduced or used commercially without permission.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, my liability in connection with any lesson or service is limited to the amount you paid for that lesson or service.
13. Privacy
Information you provide when booking a lesson or joining the junior waitlist is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book applies to that booking.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
